Description:Axiom EPM is a leading provider of Enterprise Performance Management solutions to the healthcare industry. Our continued success and growth in this vertical market have created an additional opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Sales Team and partner with our industry experts as we deliver the latest technology and unsurpassed customer service to hospital finance professionals. Account Executives (AEs) have a broad range of responsibilities all of which are critical to their success. For example, a portion of your leads will come through the marketing efforts of the company, but the ability to prospect and generate leads from your own efforts is also necessary. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in this regard. You must have a competitive spirit with the desire to win while maintaining the highest level of integrity. Your experience in the healthcare industry, talking with finance executives from large hospital systems will bring credibility to your interactions with clients. AEs are the face of the company in the field, and as such, much emphasis will be placed on the professionalism and competency with which you interact with customers and manage sales opportunities. As a vital member of the sales team, you will jointly craft a strategy for targeting and closing sales opportunities in your target market. You must be able to articulate the value proposition of the company and its solutions to business users. Effective AEs listen closely to customer requirements; they are able to understand and translate business needs into solutions for our customers. You must be highly organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

• Meet or exceed jointly established sales goals

• Generate a significant portion of your overall pipeline • Effectively assess the market potential of each opportunity

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle with a great degree of proficiency including needs analysis, on site presentations, objection handling, rapport building, proposal writing and delivery, contract negotiating and closing, creating an outstanding experience for new customers as they transition from sales to services

• Be highly effective in positioning the value proposition of Axiom EPM (technology, services, support)

• Stay up-to-date on all EPM market trends and competing products and strategies

• Provide feedback to marketing, consulting, development and other key areas of Axiom acting as the “eyes and ears” of the company in the field

• Build long-lasting relationships that enable you to find new opportunities that create value for the customer and create revenue for Axiom EPM


• 3+ years in healthcare software sales – ideally in enterprise software, specifically in acute care environments

• 3+ years experience managing sales targets in excess of $3 million

• Strong working knowledge of performance management topics, such as budgeting, reporting, and profitability measurement

• Minimum 4 year degree required

• Fearless in pursing customers, prospecting, winning new business

• Comfortable managing existing client accounts of 50+

• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic – possess a strong desire to succeed while always maintaining the highest level of integrity

• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, including excellent presentation skills. Must be able to confidently and effectively communicate with Finance and IT professionals at all levels of the organization, including key stakeholders and the C-suite.

• High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about being part of a growing business

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Highly personable and genuine, a person customers enjoy interacting with

• Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and be highly responsive to customer requests

• Strong attention to detail, high levels of professionalism and polish in all interactions

• Commitment to all back office activities such as forecasting, maintaining an up-to-date view of your pipeline in CRM, etc.

• Exceptional team rapport with solution engineering, marketing, sales management and others

• Able to travel throughout the United States (currently about 3 trips per month involving 1 or 2 night stays each trip, but could be more or less in any given month)
